Connecting food to people in need

The Food Conduit donates your leftover food to the homeless after any big event.

Food Shortage

30-40% of the United States food supply goes to waste

That’s 133 billion pounds of food, worth $161 billion

Yet, 1 in 9 American households remain food insecure

How does that make sense?

Who We Are

Here at the food conduit, we believe that leftover bananas belong in bellies, not trash cans. The core of our efforts is to bring leftover food from large events to people in need.  Sounds simple enough, right?

  • How many events have you been to where piles of food were thrown in the trash?

  • How many 5Ks have you been to with leftover snacks and water?

  • Meetings with leftover boxed lunches?

  • Weddings with leftover food?

The list goes on and on.
